  • Conduct Surface Ship Safety Surveys in: Safety Program Administration, Damage Control / Fire Fighting, Deck Seamanship, Combat System, Industrial Hygiene / NAVOSH, Electrical, Engineering Auxiliaries, Main Propulsion, Weapons, and Operational Risk Management Refresher.
  • Answer safety questions from the fleet.
  • Analyze various mishap reports and correspondences for safety related trends taking action as required.
  • Submit current articles for publication in Ships’ Safety Bulletin, Fathom Magazine and Lessons Learned Messages.
  • Maintain current information on our Surface Ship web pages full of useful information on various safety related topics.
  • Send us your ideas for safety. Submit articles to be published in Fathom Magazine or Ships’ Safety Bulletin.
