NEW 2004 Federal Assistance Funding Book (FAFB)
Now Available!
The new CDC FAFB can now be accessed on-line at
http://www.cdc.gov/od/pgo/funding/FAFBfinal1.pdf.
The FAFB contains a "preview" thirty four (34) of the competitive
funding opportunities available for fiscal
year 2004 at CDC.
Additional grant and cooperative
agreement opportunities may become available
because of programmatic planning or Congressional
action. The FAFB is similar to the Health
Resources and Services Administration’s Preview
Grants Index which can be found at their
web site at
http://www.hrsa.gov/grants.htm.
CDC’s goal is to increase the applicant pool
to include more organizations such as those that are the
faith-based for CDC’s funding
opportunities and to provide applicants additional
time to plan and prepare their application.
The Procurement and Grants Office (PGO)
currently staffs a phone line to assist
applicants in locating and downloading
applications and instructions from the
CDC web site. Assistance is available by calling
(770) 488-2700.
