How to Search: Click on the left side bar button - DocFinder - or the link above to search for a doctor and other licensee's.

The only online physician directory of its kind when it was launched in 1996 at the time of the Internet's infancy, the AIM DocFinder is still recognized for its easy to use search engine.  It remains the only combined public online physician database in the nation that has its direct source of data from state government licensing boards and that also remains free of charge to the public.  DocFinder contains the licensing background and disciplinary information of physicians and other health care practitioners with much more detailed Medical Malpractice, Hospital Discipline and Criminal Conviction information from Physician Profile Law states such as First in the Nation Massachusetts.  Very popular with consumers, DocFinder has been featured in numerous state and national publications such as Newsweek Magazine as well as national and local news broadcasts.

About AIM

Administrators in Medicine (AIM) is a non-profit organization that exists solely to assist and support administrators for medical licensing and regulatory authorities to achieve administrative excellence and, ultimately, advance public safety.  Our members are State Medical and Osteopathic Board Executives.  State Medical and Osteopathic Boards are government agencies responsible for licensing and, when necessary, disciplining Medical Doctors (MDs), Osteopathic Doctors (DOs) and other health professionals within their jurisdiction.  State Medical and Osteopathic Boards are the source of licensure information about Doctors (see the AIM DocFinder below) and are where consumers file complaints when problems occur.
