Tenofovir DF comes in tablet form and may be taken with or without food.

   Recommended Daily Dose

The recommended dose of tenofovir DF is 300 mg once a day. Patients with decreased kidney function may need to take tenofovir DF less frequently. Some patients may benefit from different doses of tenofovir DF. Patients should always take tenofovir DF as prescribed by their doctors.
