No existe un sistema aceptado de clasificación para feocromocitoma.
Benigno localizado Los datos sugieren que para los pacientes con feocromocitoma resecable, benigno,
la supervivencia general es igual a la de la población normal correspondiente a
la edad.[1,2]
Regional No hay información disponible en este momento.
Metastásico Datos de varias series sugieren que la tasa de supervivencia a 5 años para
pacientes con feocromocitoma metastásico, maligno, es de aproximadamente
40%.[1-3] En tres estudios retrospectivos de pacientes con feocromocitoma
metastásico o recurrente, la supervivencia de 5 años fue del 32% al 60%.[4]
