Mason County Fruit Packers Cooperative Issues Voluntary Recall

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS, April 10, 1999 - Mason County Fruit Packers officials announced today it is issuing a voluntary recall of its 48 oz. Dominick's brand apple juice with the product cap code of 914061-01 and upc #3828103021. The product is being recalled because a Dominick's employee, prior to sale, found small pieces of glass in one bottle of the apple juice. Approximately 300 cases of the code identified was shipped to Dominick's stores.

The apple juice has been pulled from Dominick's stores shelves. No injuries or complaints about the product have been reported.

The product should be discarded and not consumed. Customers can return the product to Dominick's for a full refund.
