OMAHA, Neb., Sept. 12, 2001 - MC Retail Foods of Omaha, Neb., is recalling the 12-ounce packages of Marie Callender's Breaded Fish with Macaroni and Cheese and Broccoli Florets Dinner because it may contain undeclared egg whites. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to egg whites run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product. However, the product is safe for persons who are not allergic to egg whites.
The product is distributed nationwide through retail stores.
The product is packed in a 12-ounce paperboard carton marked with the following production codes: 14 E1206, 14 F1206, 14 G1206, and 14 H1206. The production code is located on the side panel in the consumer information box.
No illnesses have been reported to date.
