Price Chopper Recalls 4-Pack Carrot Muffins from its Niskayuna Store

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE --Schenectady, NY -- May 2, 2003 --Price Chopper is issuing a recall on its bakery 4-Pack Carrot Muffins packaged at the Niskayuna store where a printer glitch was identified. The recall is being instituted because the hazelnuts present in the product were disclosed only as "ha" on the label as a result of the printer glitch. All 4-pack Carrot Muffins dated prior to May 3, 2003 have been removed from the shelves.

Customers who purchased muffins from the Niskayuna store may return them to the store for a full refund.
