Allergen Alert: Goldensmell Soft Candy

Brooklyn, NY - July 11, 2000 - Strong International Trading Corp. is recalling 75 BAGS of goldensmell soft candy because product may contain undeclared peanuts.

People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to peanuts run the risk of serious or life threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.

Product was distributed to the New York City area.

Goldensmell soft candy is recalled in 11.7 oz. plastic bags.

No illnesses have been reported to date.

The recall was initiated after it was discovered that product containing peanuts was distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of peanuts.

Consumers who have Goldensmell soft candy can return the product to place of purchase for a full refund. Consumers with questions may contact the company at 718-628-6200.
