VICORP Recalls Baked Fruit Pies Due to Undeclared Egg

Denver, CO - October 25, 2002 -- VICORP of Denver, Colorado is recalling baked fruit pies due to undeclared egg.

People who have allergies to eggs run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

The recalled pies were distributed in the states of Minnesota, Missouri and California. The products are packed in cartons with the following lot numbers:

No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem.

The recall was initiated after a label review, which revealed that the products were distributed in packaging which did not reveal the presence of egg.

Consumers who have purchased the aforementioned products are urged to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund. Consumers with questions may contact the company at 708.687.7650 x234.
