Evaluation of the Program for Women
and Girls/Gender Equity
The
Urban Institute evaluated the impact of the program since inception in 1993.
Principal
Investigators
for all funded projects in a sample were contacted in order to collect
project
evaluations, as part of the study. The overall goal is to assess the impact of
the program
on
the knowledge base, the infrastructure, and participants in the area of women
in science,
engineering,
and mathematics, and to produce a meta-analysis and assessment.
