The American Lung Association is pleased to offer you this Flu Shot Locator, powered by Maxim Health, with easy access for finding flu clinics near you.

In light of the vaccine shortage announcement, the Lung Association is dedicated to maintaining the clinic listings offered here. Our Flu Vaccine Shortage Guidelines have been developed to ensure that the people most at risk for complications from the flu have access to the vaccination. While the clinics offered on this site are open to the public, due to the vaccine shortage only those at high risk of developing complications from the flu will be vaccinated. Clinics will be added daily as long as the vaccine supply lasts; please check back if you are having trouble finding a clinic in your area. Because of this year's shortage and the current reallocation of vaccine plan, you are encouraged to call ahead to make sure you will be able to receive the flu shot from the clinics promoted from this site.

If you are considered high risk for complications of the flu, the American Lung Association encourages you to "stick with the flu shot." You are at high risk if you are a member of one or more of these groups:

• Adults 65 years or older.
• All children aged 6-23 months.
• Adults and children ages 2-64 with chronic medical conditions.
• All women who will be pregnant during the influenza season.
• Residents of nursing homes and other chronic care facilities.
• Children aged 6 months-18 years on chronic aspirin therapy.
• Health-care workers involved in direct patient care.
• Out-of-home caregivers and household contacts of children less than 6 months old.

Flu symptoms strike abruptly and are more severe than those of colds. Some of the symptoms include high fever (101 degrees or above), cough, sore throat, chills, and body and muscle aches. If you think you have the flu, see your doctor, nurse, or healthcare provider.
