A D V I S O R Y  --  P R E S S   C O N F E R E N C E

     On Thursday, Feb. 6, President Bush is scheduled to present
the Administration's health care reform plan in a speech before
the Greater Cleveland Growth Association, at 12:30 p.m.

     HHS Secretary Louis W. Sullivan, M.D., will conduct a media
briefing on the President's plan at 2 p.m. in the auditorium of
the Humphrey Building.  Admittance to the briefing is restricted
to those with press credentials, plus health-related newsletter
reporters who have called in advance to the HHS press office.  A
television monitor will be available for others to view the
briefing in the Humphrey Building Great Hall.

     Thorough background materials will be available, as well as
the text of the President's speech.  These background papers will
be available to the media at 11 a.m., embargoed for 12:30 p.m. 
Those with press credentials may obtain single copies of the
materials from the HHS press office.
