1992.04.02 :  Child Abuse Field Hearing

April 2, 1992

                   M E D I A   A D V I S O R Y 

        The U.S. Advisory Board on Child Abuse and Neglect will
conduct a field hearing in Los Angeles on fatal child
maltreatment.  April is Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Month. 
Witnesses will include state and local health, legal and social
services officials; the producer of a TV documentary on abuse;
and the mother of a child killed by a day care provider.
