A Timeline of CDC/ATSDR Contributions to Women's Health
Click on a decade. 1960 | 1970 | 1980 | 1990 | 2000 The Centers
for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Agency for Toxic Substances
and Disease Registry (ATSDR) have made many contributions to women's health.
CDC and ATSDR have developed research, implemented disease prevention
programs, and developed health strategies that help women live healthier
lives in society today. These activities help address a variety of issues,
including violence, pregnancy, cancer, HIV/AIDS, heart disease, workplace
safety, and smoking.
