CPSC staff promotes safety by participating in voluntary standards activities for a wide range of consumer products. Links are also provided to the appropriate voluntary standards organization for additional information.
CPSC staff also conducts and sponsors many research and study projects. Findings may be used by staff to develop and refine positions on voluntary and mandatory product safety standards. You can view and comment on such reports, located in our Research Reports area.
