Forecast Date: March 17, 2004
The FY 2004 Forecast of U.S. Department of Education (ED) Contract Opportunities indicates possible upcoming ED acquisitions. The forecast is based on the best information available at the time it is posted online. Although an acquisition is listed on the forecast, ED may, at any time, delay or cancel it, if the Department's requirements change. All contract award dates are projections. The information is subject to change and is in no way binding on the Government. Interested parties should monitor FedBizOpps for notices providing more specific information on individual opportunities. Additional instructions for 8(a) firms are provided below.
FEDBIZOPPS: ED posts all synopses and solicitations at FedBizOpps (FBO). FBO is the single point on the Internet where vendors can access information needed to bid on government contracts over $25,000.00. Vendors may view a synopsis, download a solicitation, and register to receive notification of modifications to existing notices. FBO provides the capability to search for business opportunities by agency, posted date, classification code, and NAICS code.
8(a) Firms and HUBZone firms: SBA 8(a) certified and SBA HUBZone certifed firms should highlight the opportunities on the forecast they are interested in and fax the information to the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) at
