" Defense sector firms in our respective countries
have skills and resources that complement each other. For example, the
U.S. Army is testing certain South African ammunition that appears to
be better than any other we have tested, including our own. U.S. firms
have their own skills and resources, including long production runs
and significant economies of scale. There is enormous scope for deeper
cooperation."

The US flag flew high recently when the Libra Primary School represented
the United States during the Mini Olympics organized by the Lenasia Primary
Schools Sports Council. Over 15 schools participated in this competition.
Libra draws a large percentage of its school enrollment from the Thembalihle
informal settlement. A squad of cheer leaders from Libra brought to the
Mini Olympics scenes which were typical of any American stadium - US flags
and banners included.
