NIDA To Host: "Blending Clinical Practice and Research: Forging Partnerships in the Great Lakes States To Enhance Drug Addiction Treatment"

A 2-day conference which will bring together clinicians and researchers to examine cutting-edge scientific findings about drug abuse and addiction and their application to clinical practice. |
WHY: |
As in other fields of medicine, a gap exists in the drug abuse treatment field between clinical practice and scientific research. By bringing together leading drug abuse treatment clinicians and researchers, this conference will provide an opportunity to further bridge that gap. |

The National Institute on Drug Abuse, the Great Lakes Clinical Trials Network (CTN), and Wayne State University are organizing this conference.
