Clinical Research Training for Dental Faculty

Dental school faculty members interested in clinical research are invited to apply for a one-year training program at the NIDCR.  The program, for junior and senior faculty members, has been established in the Sjogren's Syndrome Clinic, located in NIH's research hospital in Bethesda, MD.  The Clinic is run by NIDCR's Gene Therapy and Therapeutics Branch.  Applications will be accepted at any time.

Successful applicants must have a DDS/DMD or equivalent degree and an active license to practice dentistry in any of the 50 states or the District of Columbia.  Trainees will be full participants in ongoing clinical trials in the Sjogren's Syndrome Clinic, and will also participate in developing new protocols to test novel biological treatments for salivary gland diseases.  Optional graduate level supplementary coursework is available.  Interested persons should send their CV, bibliography, the names of two references, and a statement of interest and long-term goals to:
