This live, interactive broadcast will describe Health and Human Services
Secretary Tommy G. Thompsons new Steps to a HealthierUS initiative (Steps),
a new prevention initiative that focuses on reducing the burden of chronic
diseases and addressing the lifestyle choices that are responsible for some of
the leading causes of death and disability. This broadcast will help
applicants in preparing their responses to the Request for Applications
(RFA) for the Steps Program. Watch for the RFA to appear in the
Federal Register on May 9.
