Public Health Training Network Satellite Broadcast& Webcast

Objectives
At the end of the series, participants will be able to:
  • Describe the difference between active and passive immunity.

For each vaccine-preventable disease:

  • Identify those for whom routine immunization is recommended.
  • Describe characteristics of the vaccine used to prevent each disease. (Characteristics may include: schedule, contraindications and/or adverse reactions.)
