The Asset Forfeiture Management Staff (AFMS) provides asset management and financial oversight to the Asset Forfeiture Program.

The Asset Forfeiture Management Staff (AFMS), Justice Management Division, is responsible for Department-level administrative management matters affecting the asset forfeiture program, including financial management, audits, contracts, and automation. The AFMS may be reached at 202-616-8000 to respond to any matters regarding:

  1. the Department of Justice Assets Forfeiture Fund (AFF),
  2. the Seized Asset Deposit Fund (SADF),
  3. the Consolidated Asset Tracking System (CATS),
  4. the administrative services contract currently held by Dyncorp,
  5. the professional assistance contracts currently awarded to BearingPoint, Inc., Unisys and Maximus,
  6. the support services BPA currently held by UNISYS
  7. the annual audit of the AFF and SADF,
  8. interpretation of the AFF statute, Title 28 USC Section 524(c)
  9. legislative and appropriations matters affecting the AFF and SADF, and
  10. any other matters affecting the financial health of the asset forfeiture program.
