The Asset Forfeiture
Management Staff (AFMS) provides asset management and financial oversight to the
Asset Forfeiture Program.
The Asset Forfeiture
Management Staff (AFMS), Justice Management Division, is responsible for Department-level
administrative management matters affecting the asset forfeiture program, including
financial management, audits, contracts, and automation. The AFMS may be reached
at 202-616-8000 to respond to any matters regarding:
- the Department
of Justice Assets Forfeiture Fund (AFF),
- the Seized
Asset Deposit Fund (SADF),
- the Consolidated
Asset Tracking System (CATS),
- the administrative
services contract currently held by Dyncorp,
- the professional
assistance contracts currently awarded to BearingPoint, Inc., Unisys
and Maximus,
- the support
services BPA currently held by UNISYS
- the annual
audit
of the AFF and SADF,
- interpretation
of the AFF statute, Title
28 USC Section 524(c)
- legislative
and appropriations matters affecting the AFF and SADF, and
- any other
matters affecting the financial health of the asset forfeiture program.
