Alternate Site Tax Help
IRS mobile units and alternate sites offer an additional way to get face-to-face assistance between now and April 15. IRS representatives will provide a variety of services, including answers to tax law questions, commonly used tax forms and publications, help preparing basic tax returns for wage-based incomes of $35,000 or less and personal assistance resolving account related concerns as part of IRS’s Everyday Tax Solutions. Services are on a first come first served basis.
If an IRS mobile unit or alternate site is not nearby, taxpayers can take advantage of Everyday Tax Solutions by contacting the nearest IRS office.
