The Maritime Administration has released the subject Report. The
Report is available online and can be downloaded

Electronic Catalog of U.S. Shipyards
NMREC released the Electronic Catalog of U.S.
Shipyards on CD Rom. This new resource provides data on shipyard
capabilities, facilities, types of ships built, employment, and
other shipyard statistics. To receive a copy of the CD, please
contact Beth Gearhart on 202-366-1867 or via e-mail at
beth.gearhart@marad.dot.gov.
MARAD's Latest
Report on Port and Shipping Safety and
Environmental Protection
The U.S. Maritime Administration's Report (Report
#72) on Port and Shipping Safety and Environmental Protection,
dated July 2004, is available for review. The Table of Contents,
Summaries, and Chapters are in Adobe Acrobat format. The Adobe
Acrobat Reader can be downloaded free of charge by
clicking here. Previous reports are available on
NMREC's Environmental Information Web Page.
Shipyard Links
The list of U.S. shipyards on the
NMREC Web site has been expanded. The list contains shipyards that
have links to their individual Web sites. There are now two
variations of the list. The shipyards are listed alphabetically
and by regions. To view the new lists, click on either version:
U.S. Shipyards (Alphabetically) or
U.S. Shipyards (By Regions). Any comments or questions can be
