Seaward Marine Services Inc., Fairfax, Va., is being awarded a $22,540,561 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, fixed-price contract for waterborne hull cleaning and associated services in support of the Director of Ocean Engineering, Supervisor of Salvage and Diving. The purpose of this contract is to provide hull cleaning, hull inspection and other related ship husbandry services on the underwater portion of the Navy, Coast Guard, Army and Military Sealift Command ships and craft. This contract contains options which, if exercised, would bring the total cumulative value of this contract to $114,892,193. Work will be performed in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii (29%); San Diego, Calif. (29%); Norfolk, Va. (25%); Mayport, Fla. (5%); Ingleside, Texas (5%); New London, Conn. (5%); and Colts Neck, N.J. (2%), and is expected to be completed by September 2006. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured and advertised in the Commerce Business Daily with four offers received. The modification awarded to Lockheed Martin Corp., Manassas, Va., (MDA972-99-9-0004) on Oct. 1, 2001, should have read:

The Team 2020 Consortium, represented by Lockheed Martin Corp., Manassas, Va., in association with Electric Boat Corp., Groton, Conn., and Northrup Grumman, Annapolis, Md., is being awarded a $6,030,798 agreement modification to previously awarded contract (MDA972-99-9-0004) to design, fabricate, test and demonstrate a prototype submarine payload module technique known as the Flexible Payload Module and conduct continued submarine payload and sensor research. Work will be performed in Groton, Conn. (79%); Manassas, Va. (20%); and Annapolis, Md. (1%), and is expected to be completed by July 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
