It presents key data tables (sorted by fuel and by geographic location) and some highlights of petroleum industry activity that impacted oil and natural gas production and proved reserves in 2003. The full report (to be published in November 2004) will contain more comprehensive data.
Natural Gas Navigator Enhancements  (6/14/2004)
Significant changes have been made to the method of navigation and the structure of selected data categories. First, the static topics bar used in the first version has been replaced by a dynamic drop-down menu system, which allows for more descriptive labels and easier navigation between topics. Second, a few major categories have been restructured and simplified: new categories of “Exploration & Reserves” and “Production” now replace the old categories of “Resources & Reserves”, “Exploration & Production”, and “Plant Processing” (now under “Production”). Furthermore, selected data topics have been restructured either by combining two or more topics into one or by splitting one topic into two (e.g., “Imports & Exports by Country” has been split into separate “Imports” and “Exports” topics).

Because of these changes, bookmarks to many of the old Natural Gas Navigator pages will no longer work. Please contact EIA if you need assistance. Navigator is an evolving product and we welcome comments and suggestions.
