FOIA/Privacy Act Positions Available at Federal Agencies

The Office of Information and Privacy has learned of one Freedom of Information Act/Privacy Act-related position that is currently available at another federal agency, and it has a vacancy on its staff as well:

• The Office of the Solicitor in the Department of Labor is looking for an Attorney-Advisor to serve in its Division of Legislative and Legal Counsel. The position is at the GS-12/14 level, depending upon experience. Anyone interested in this position should refer to vacancy announcement number SOL:03-07 (closing date 4/25/03) or may contact Norman Harvey at (202) 693-5418 (TDD (202) 693-5441). • The Office of Information and Privacy is looking for a law clerk/FOIA Specialist to process initial FOIA requests made to the Department of Justice's senior leadership offices and also assist in miscellaneous legal research and writing projects. OIP would prefer a first- or second-year evening law student who is available to work full-time. The position is at the GS-5/7 level, depending upon experience.
