Conoco, Inc., Houston, Tex., was awarded a $126,504,936 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment contract for aviation fuel, grade JP-8. Two hundred thirty-seven proposals were solicited and thirty-four were received. Work is expected to be completed by Oct. 30, 2001, and will be performed in Ponca City, Okla. Navajo Refining Company*, Artesia, N.M., was awarded a $120,959,227 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment contract for aviation fuel, grade JP-8. Two hundred thirty-seven proposals were solicited and thirty-four were received. Work is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2001, and will be performed in El Paso, Tex., and Roswell, N.M.. Tesoro Hawaii Corp., Honolulu, Hawaii, was awarded a $94,763,287 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment contract for aviation fuel, grade JP-8 jet fuel and F76 naval distillate. Two hundred thirty-seven proposals were solicited and thirty-four were received. Work is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2001, and will be performed in Kapolei, Hawaii. Valero Refining Company-California, San Antonio, Tex., was awarded a $90,328,192 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment contract for aviation fuel, grade JP-5. Two hundred thirty-seven proposals were solicited and thirty-four were received. Work is expected to be completed by Oct. 30, 2001, and will be performed in Benicia, Calif. AMOCO Oil Company, Warrenville, Ill., was awarded a $60,633,440 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment contract for aviation fuel, grade JP-8. Two hundred thirty-seven proposals were solicited and thirty-four were received. Work is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2001, and will be performed in Mandan, N.D., and Whiting, Ind. Valero Marketing and Supply Company, San Antonio, Tex., was awarded a $57,594,436 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment contract for aviation fuel, grade JP-8. Two hundred thirty-seven proposals were solicited and thirty-four were received. Work is expected to be completed by Oct. 30, 2001, and will be performed in Texas City, Tex. Dornier Medical Systems, Kennesaw, Ga., was awarded a $50,000,000 (estimated maximum) indefinite-quantity contract for X-ray systems, subsystems and components. ARMY

Freightliner LLC, Portland, Ore., is being awarded a $34,072,624 delivery order amount as part of a $389,000,000 firm-fixed-price/seven-year requirements contract for the purchase of 1,304 tractors (M915A3), 496 tractors (M916A3), and 257 dump trucks (M917A2). Work will be performed in Portland, Ore., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 8, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was an announcement on the World Wide Web on April 21, 2000, and two bids were received. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-00-D-S022).

Oshkosh Truck Corp., Oshkosh, Wis., is being awarded a $17,677,650 modification to firm-fixed-price contract DAAE07-95-C-X057, for Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Trucks (HEMTT). This contract is for the purchase of 96 HEMTT M985s without winches and without air conditioners, and 8 HEMTT M985s with winches and with air conditioners. Work will be performed in Oshkosh, Wis., and is expected to be completed by July 3, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on June 26, 1996. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-95-C-X057).

J. D. Abrams Inc., Austin, Texas, is being awarded a $13,832,840 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of an aircraft-loading apron. The contractor will construct a concrete apron with taxiway (with underdrains), taxiway edge lighting, high mast area lighting, removal of soil stained with jet fuel, and perimeter fencing. The project also includes removal of the old concrete and asphalt aircraft parking apron, gas lines, and water service lines; as well as adding telephones, relocation of a small wood frame building; construction of a fire training facility with a lined pit, burn area, control tower, and propane tank. Work will be performed at Fort Bliss, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Nov. 1, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 130 bids solicited on July 12, 2000, and five bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth, Texas, is the contracting activity (DACA63-00-C-0028).

Lucas Brothers Inc.*, Morganville, N.J. (DAAB08-00-D-0007), and Fiore Paving Co. Inc.*, Oceanport, N.J. (DAAB08-00-D-0008), are each being awarded indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contracts (an appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each delivery order), with an $8,000,000 ceiling total for each. The contract is for post-wide paving, repair of roads, parking areas, new pavement, replacement of concrete curbs, gutters, driveway entrances, sidewalks and the surface preparation and marking of roads and parking lots. Work will be performed at Fort Monmouth, N.J., and at other installations within a 75 mile radius, and is expected to be completed by Sept. 7, 2004. There were 11 bids solicited on July 30, 2000, and two bids were received. The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, N.J., is the contracting activity.

NAVY

Moon Engineering Company, Inc., Portsmouth, Va., is being awarded a $6,547,261 fixed-price contract for the phased maintenance availability of the USS Oak Hill (LSD 51). Work will include miscellaneous structural, electrical and mechanical repairs and ship alterations. Work will be performed in Portsmouth, Va., and is expected to be completed by February 2001. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via the Internet, with seven proposals solicited and four offers received. The Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Conversion and Repair, USN, Portsmouth, Va., is the contracting activity (N00024-92-H-8636).

Raytheon Systems Company, McKinney, Texas, is being awarded a $6,045,540 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-95-C-0198 for non-recurring engineering support associated with the development of the Ultra High Resolution/ Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar (UHR/ISAR) and the interface for the Limited Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) Tactical Mission Software on-line control for the AN/APS 137C(V)5 Radar for P-3 aircraft. Work will be performed in McKinney, Texas (90%); and Kauai, Hawaii (10%), and is expected to be completed in March 2004. Contract funds would not have expired at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-95-C-0198).

AIR FORCE

bd Systems Inc., Torrance, Calif., is being awarded a $6,317,107 option to a cost-plus-award-fee contract to provide for the FY2001 Twenty-one Net Plus program in support of Peterson AFB, Colo. This effort includes local area network (LAN) lines access, mobile radio service, base communication center maintenance, audio visual equipment maintenance, information center operations and maintenance, and base telecommunication support services. Expected contract completion date is Sept. 30, 2001. The 21st Contracting Squadron, Peterson AFB, Colo., is the contracting activity (F05604-98-C-9001).
