Harris Corp., Government Communications Systems Division, Melbourne, Fla., is being awarded a $7,499,922 modification to firm-fixed-price and time-and-materials contract DAAB07-95-C-A518, for the Lightweight Multiband Satellite Terminal (LMST) program, which provides tri-band super high frequency terminals. The LMST program will provide smaller, lighter, modular, more flexible terminals to meet the theater deployable communications requirement to provide initial long haul communications for bare-base deployment and augment communications as deployment matures.
