5th Immunization Registry Conference 2004 - October 18-20, 2004

The 5th Immunization Registry Conference (IRC) will bring together over 400 local, state, federal, and private sector immunization registry partners, to promote knowledge and information about the development and use of immunization registries. The goal of the conference is to provide participants with programmatic, technical, and scientific information that will improve the use of immunization registries. The conference will also provide a forum to build support for immunization registries, enhance collaboration, promote multiple and innovative uses of registry data, explore alternative funding strategies, and demonstrate immunization registry successes. Participants will identify benefits and roles for all participants in registry development and use, including health care providers, public health officials, and families.
The conference will occur in Atlanta at the Crowne Plaza Ravinia Hotel. During the two and a half day conference, 4 plenary and 5 workshop sessions are scheduled. For more information, go to the conference website at http://www.cdc.gov/nip/registry/irc/.
Program Information TARGET AUDIENCE: Physicians, nurses, health educators, administrators and others involved in setting immunization policy, implementing immunization programs, and delivering immunization services. This conference is also targeted to Information Technology Personnel working in state and local health departments, as well as others who manage Immunization Registries
