BLM Geographic Sciences is building a Geographic Coordinate Data Base (GCDB) from the Public Land Survey System Records. This data base contains geographic coordinates, such as latitude and longitude, for rectangular surveys and special surveys i.e., mineral, homestead entry and tract surveys. The GCDB will be used to graphically display data in BLM's Automated Land and Mineral Record System (ALMRS) for improved public land management. This data is available through this home page.
