Classroom topics are designed to make all class
participants familiar with the roles of the various community agencies,
and vary slightly depending on which version of the is being conducted.
All Preparedness and Response IEMC's include orientations to the
various emergency service disciplines, as well as discussions of
policy and media issues. Recovery and Mitigation IEMC's also include
sessions on recovery issues such as debris management, record keeping,
and methods to reduce the impact of future disasters.
