1999The Federal Trade Commission today announced the following actions:
- Petition to reopen and modify or set aside orders:
- The FTC has received a petition from First American Real Estate Solutions, LLC
requesting that the Commission reopen proceedings and withdraw or amend the consent order
entered on January 27, 1999.

- The Commission is seeking public comment on the newly received petition for 30 days,
until January 20, 2000. Comments should be sent to the Office of the Secretary, 600
Pennsylvania Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C. 20580. (FTC Docket No. C3849; staff contact is

2, 1999.)
- Consent agreements given final approval:
- Following a public comment period, the Commission has made final a consent agreement
with the following entity: Precision Castparts Corp. The Commission
action makes the consent order binding on the respondent.

- The Commission vote to finalize the consent agreement was 4-0, with
Commissioner Thomas B. Leary not participating. (FTC File No. 991-0240; staff contact is
