Disaster Recovery Services Disaster Recovery Services Overview

The Disaster Recovery Services contract provides worldwide alternate secure facilities with complete computer and communications systems for most technology platforms to implement a disaster recovery plan with one of the three world renowned disaster recovery providers. Federal agencies and qualified non-federal organizations can use the Disaster Recovery Services contract. The Disaster Recovery Services contract has the following attributes:

  • Indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract
  • Basic contract expired March 28, 2004
  • Open task orders must expire no later than 36 months after expiration of the basic contract (March 28, 2007) 
  • Ceiling of $150 million
  • Performance based, Multiple Award contract
  • Requirements are task order competed for Best Value Award
  • Firm Fixed Price Task orders
  • No-cost, no-obligation proposals
  • No minimum order amount
  • Task orders not protestable
