Experimental Calibrated GVIs, 1994 CD-ROM

GLOBE Version 1.0 Digital Elevation Data, 1999 CD-ROM

Global AVHRR Derived Land Climatologies, 1997 CD-ROM

Graham's Continental Watersheds and River Networks, 2001 CD-ROM
		This new product contains 5-Minute, 1/2u , and 1u data sets of continental watersheds and river networks for use in regional and global hydrologic and climate system modeling studies. These data are useful in hydrologic modeling and can serve as a base map for routing continental runoff to the appropriate coast, ocean or inland sea. Most Intense Tropical Storms, 1996 Poster
		The 14 most intense tropical storms from the 1996 calendar year are shown with thermal infrared imagery from the DMSP Operational Linescan System. Each image is accompanied by the vital statistics of the storm, including maximum wind speed, date and time of the image, latitude and longitude of the eye, and duration of the storm. The roster of most intense tropical storms includes 7 typhoons, cyclones, and 2 hurricanes. Size: 24x36 inches. Contact: Craig.A.Clark@noaa.gov or 303 497-6761.

NOAA/NASA Pathfinder Climate Data, 1998 CD-ROM
		Collection of 7 data sets from the 1987-1988 NOAA/NASA Pathfinder Program. Data include AVHRR, TOVS, and SSM/I. Contact: Patrick.J.Hayes@noaa.gov or 303 497-6764.

Nighttime Lights of the World Custom Data CD-ROM
		This custom CD allows the online user to have multiple selections on a single CD, up to ~ 650 Mb. The data will be raw binary, which requires special image viewing software to view (such as ENVI from Research Systems Inc.). Contact: Patrick.J.Hayes@noaa.gov or 303 497-6764.

Nighttime Lights of the World, 1994-1995 Poster
		The Nighttime Lights of the World poster depicts the lights from cities, fires, gas flares, and fishing boats, each in a separate color. Source data collected October 1994 - March 1995. The poster measures 36.5"x18.76". Contact: Craig.A.Clark@noaa.gov or 303 497-6761.

Reynolds Global Soil Data, 2001 CD-ROM
		Spatial soil water-holding capacites were estimated for the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) digital Soil Map of the World (SMW) by employing continuous pedo-transfer functions (PTF) within global pedon databases and linking these results to the SMW. These raster images have the same 5-minute spatial resolution of the original SMW to preserve the integrity of the original data. Contact: John.J.Kineman@noaa.gov or 303 497-6900.

Tropical Cyclones - 1997 Indian Ocean & SW Pacific Slide Set
		40 images comprise this set of 20 storms of severe cyclone strength in the Indian and Southwest Pacific Oceans which occurred between January 2, 1997, and January 1, 1998. Each storm is displayed in thermal-infrared and visible wavelengths. Two cyclones, Poncho-Helinda and Gavin, had sustained winds of 128 kt. B&W Contact: Craig.A.Clark@noaa.gov or 303 497-6761.

Tropical Cyclones - 1997 NE Pacific & Atlantic Hurricanes Slide Set
		24 slides comprise this set of 12 Western Hemisphere hurricanes that occurred between July 5 and November 10, 1997. Hurricane Linda, estimated as the year's strongest hurricane in the eastern North Pacific Ocean with sustained winds reaching 160 kt, is included in this set. Tropical Cyclones - 1997 NW Pacific Typhoons Slide Set
		42 images comprise this slide set of 21 Northwest Pacific storms of typhoon strength that occurred between April 11 and December 21, 1997. Each storm is displayed in both thermal-infrared and visible wavelengths. Four typhoons (Ivan, Joan, Keith, and Paka) all had sustained winds of 160 kt.
