The Office of Executive Budgeting (OEB) formulates and reviews budget estimates for the Working Capital Fund, the General Administration's Salaries and Expenses Fund, the Advances and Reimbursements Account and the Gifts and Bequests Fund. Additionally, OEB's staff provides a wide range of functions including:

• Serving as liaison to the Departmental Office of Budget:
• Updating and maintaining the Office of the Secretary's Working Capital Fund Handbook and Advances and Reimbursement Handbook;
• Performing audit follow-up on reportable conditions identified in the Gifts and Bequests Fund, the Salaries and Expenses Fund, and the Working Capital Fund;
• Acting as liaison to Working Capital Fund clients to resolve problems of mutual concerns and to identify enhancements in current operations;
• Establishing/evaluating performance measures for Departmental operations covered under the Working Capital Fund;
• Preparing reports to the Departmental Budget office, OMB and Congress that detail budgetary resources, actual obligations, outlays and employment;
• Managing the Working Capital Fund operations and employment authories assigned to the Office of the Secretary; and
• Monitoring the Departmental Gifts and Bequests account activities.
