The Usability Solutions Group (USG) provides leadership, technology solutions, training and consultation services to assist federal government in making electronic information, products and services more usable, useful, and accessible.  USG develops policies, standards, guidance, tools, educational programs, and collaborative networks to improve the usability of federal e-government initiatives. 

USG supports GSA's mission by:

• Developing policies and guidance for improving the usability of federal government electronic applications and websites.  See Policy Formulation and Research.
• Providing a full range of usability engineering services including website planning, user-center design, usability testing and develops automated tools for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of usability efforts.  See Usability Consulting Services.

• Delivering educational and professional development courses on usability engineering topics.  See Usability University.
