About Us In June 1996, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) selected the VA to be one of six Executive Branch Franchise Funds. OMB set the following goals for all Franchise Funds:
We began operating the VA Franchise Fund (VA Enterprise Centers) in 1997. Under this program, we recover our costs through charges to customers instead of receiving appropriations. This model of entrepreneurship puts agencies in the driver's seat. Agencies can exercise choice about what services to buy and where to buy them at a fair price. Knowledge of the VA Enterprise Centers and others alike allow them to make better choices. This win/win arrangement ultimately benefits the American taxpayer. In a purely financial sense, we have been quite successful. Our revenues and customer base have almost tripled since our inception. We have positioned ourselves to meet the needs of Federal agencies at prices that yield savings. Proven price, performance, and leadership make us the provider of choice and an award-winning enterprise recognized by both industry and government. The secret of our success is combining the best business practices with state-of-the-art equipment and forward-thinking people. We have used this combination as our business foundation in providing Comprehensive Business Solutions for Today's Government. Products and services from the VA Enterprise Centers are yours on a fee-for-service basis and pricing is based on individual requirements. You can obtain our services through a Franchise Agreement, contact us today to find out more.
