White House Transportation Agency

President George W. Bush's motorcade leads the inaugural parade to the viewing stands January 20, 2001.

The White House Transportation Agency (WHTA) provides motor vehicle transportation to the White House as directed by the White House Military Office. This includes 24-hour-a-day ground transportation for the First Family, the White House staff, official visitors of the First Family, and other authorized personnel.

The WHTA provides vehicle support for Presidential motorcades in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, stateside, and overseas trips.
