Recent Additions

September 20, 2002: The new Part 70 presumptive minimum fee (35KB PDF) (effective September 1, 2002) and the new Part 71 annual fee (36KB PDF)(effective January 1, 2003) have been calculated and posted on the website.

August 6, 2002: Addition of materials related to the March 2002 EPA Office of Inspector General's (OIG) report (PDF 197KB) on EPA and State progress in title V permit issuance. The documents added to the site include the OIG original report, and the Office of Air and Radiation's (OAR) official Correspondence (PDF 11KB) and Action Plan (PDF 21KB) in response to that report.

May 21, 2002: Addition of a new form, the prompt deviation reporting form (PDR) (19KB PDF). This form is used to report deviations from permit terms and conditions that part 71 requires to be reported prior to the six-month monitoring report.

December 19, 2001: Addition of a new web-page containing EPA responses to citizens' allegations of deficiencies in State and local air operating permits programs, as announced in a recent notice of availability. The citizen letters were submitted to EPA consistent with a 90-day comment period provided by EPA (12/11/2000 to 3/12/2001).

September 24, 2001: The new Part 70 presumptive minimum fee(22KB PDF), effective September 1, 2001, and the new Part 71 annual fee(21KB PDF), effective January 1, 2002 The new fees have been calculated and memos documenting the new amounts have been placed on the websites.

August 1, 2001: Revision to Form SIXMON, the Part 71 Six-month Monitoring Report
A revision has been made to section C of the instructions so that it matches the form.

June 18, 2001: Part 71 Annual Compliance Certification Form
A new form, A-COMP, for sources to use for their annual compliance certification has been added to the website.

March 2, 2001: Addition of Revised Compliance Plan and Compliance Certification forms and the addition of a new 6-Month Monitoring Report Form
Old forms CP, CC-1, and CC-2 on the part 71 forms page have been replaced with a single new form, I-COMP (PDF). This new form should be submitted with any new permit applications after this date. We are now providing a new form, SIXMON, for you to use to report required monitoring on a 6-month basis, consistent with section 71.6(a)(3)(iii). In addition, for convenience sake, we are providing separate versions of the annual fee calculation form, FEE (PDF), and the certification of truth, accuracy, and completeness, CTAC (PDF), with specific instructions for you to use for submittals required after the time of initial permit application and during the term of the permit.

January 5, 2001: Revisions to the Part 70 and Part 71 Presumptive Minimum Fee Amounts Two new memos replace the previous memo of September 29, 2000. One memo explains that the part 70 presumptive fee, effective on September 1, 2000, has been increased to $34.87, while the other explains that the part 71 fee, effective on January 1, 2001 has been increased to $36.07.
