The Biological Resources Division (BRD) is developing partnerships in three key areas with countries around the globe: (1) obtaining, managing, and sharing biological data and information; (2) developing and standardizing methodologies for biological inventory, monitoring, and research; and (3) offering training and technical assistance to facilitate scientific exchange. Emphasis is on collaboration with nations that share biological resources, have similar ecosystems, or are addressing conservation issues of importance to the United States. These partnerships support the BRD mission to work with others to provide the scientific understanding and technologies needed to support the sound management and conservation of our Nation's biological resources.
