Working with Other Governments Working with Other Governments Overview

Many of GSA's efforts, notably in E-Government, citizen services, and information technology, involve cooperation with other federal agencies, state and local governments, and other nations. Find out about GSA's intergovernmental programs, networks, and research.

GSA concentrates our resources in five areas:

  • Developing tools and directories to identify like-minded officials worldwide and allow them to locate each other;
  • Publishing analytical reports that address intergovernmental issues such as wireless technology in government, citizen expectations for electronic government, building blocks for successful intergovernmental programs, high payoff in electronic government, and the xml applications in government;
  • Forming and leading intergovernmental groups with participation by federal, state, and local government; and, other national governments;
  • Developing an extensive cadre of partners within all governments; and
  • Championing intergovernmental demonstration projects such as Government Without Boundaries.
