Mail Management Federal Mail Best Practice Awards

The Federal Mail Best Practices Awards were designed to honor those federal mail employees who are responsible for managing mail communications and employees working in federal mail centers to develop and implement innovative policies and practices.

The Federal Mail Best Practice Awards are grouped into (2) separate categories.

  • Federal Mail Manager of the Year Award

    Recognizes the Federal Mail Manager who has significantly contributed to advancing industry standards by innovative police or practice. This individual has successfully implemented mail-related innovations that have enhanced the value of mail as a strategy to improve customer service or reduce costs for the agency.
  • Federal Mail Center Excellence Award

    Recognizes the Federal Mail Center team who has demonstrated they've successfully implemented cost-effective measures, policies, and practices to improve the efficiency and reduction of postage costs in federal mail processing.

Award winners will receive a plaque and a cash award. The winners accomplishments will be announced to the federal mail community and other interested parties.

GSA looks forward to sharing creative and cost-effective measures within the federal mail community.
