New AutoChoice Feature

AutoChoice, GSA's online ordering system has a new feature. This feature checks the compatibility of selected vehicle options for light vehicles for each vendor. AutoChoice will now inform the customer if a selected option is:

  1. Included in a package which contains additional options,
  2. Excluded because the option is incompatible with other selected options, or
  3. Requires the selection of additional options to be ordered.

The customer will be required to resolve any optional equipment conflicts to make the selected vehicles “buildable” and therefore able to be ordered. This new feature will ensure that a vehicle is buildable before allowing a customer to add the vehicle to the garage.

Summer Program (Obligated Funds): Garaged Cars

Agencies must review and update any AutoChoice Garage orders placed during the summer for obligated funds  with the 2005 model year prices and options. Orders that are not updated and re-submitted to GSA will not be processed.

Ambulance and Cab and Chassis (Body Trucks) Awards

The 2005 contracts for ambulances and cab and chassis (Body Trucks) with aftermarket applications will be awarded by the end of November.
