                  OSM AWARDS TEXAS $403, 088 GRANT
                          FOR ABANDONED MINE LANDS PROGRAM

          The Interior Department's Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and

Enforcement (OSM) has provided Texas a $403, 088 grant to fund the 

state's abandoned mine lands (AML) program.

     The $403, 088 grant will fund Texas' AML administrative costs 

including supplies, equipment, and transportation..
