Crews are monitoring fire activity and patrolling the fire area.

Crews continue to patrol and monitor.

Air / Smoke Issues
An increase in visible smoke had occurred when fire activity increased September 8-9. Fire activity has moderated and smoke output has diminished.

Benefits of the Burn
Careful management of the Bluff Fire will reduce fuels and improve forest health. This allows a much needed opportunity to reintroduce fire into a fire dependent ecosystem.
