No additional closures other than those associated with the Bluff Fire Use Fire.

Updates on Fire
Due to a winter like storm which swept through the area over the weekend all firefighters were pulled off the Hidden Fire. If the fire shows activity in the future it will be staffed. Current weather predictions for the area include more snow and rain through Wednesday, October 20th. Approximately 4 inches of snow fell over the weekend. The Hidden Fire Use Fire is approximately 10 acres.

Overview
This lightning caused fire, approximately 1/2 acre was detected on October 2, 2004. This fire is being managed as a fire use fire and being monitored by the Whiskeytown National Recreation Area Fire Use module.

Last 24-hour Activity
Primarily creeping and smoldering in the ground fuels.

Strategy
Whiskeytown NRA Fire Use module was pulled off the firelines this weekend due to weather.

Vegetation Affected
Mixed conifer/red fir

Air / Smoke Issues
Minimum smoke production at this time.

Benefits of the Burn
Natural resource benefits derived from a fire dependent forest ecosystem.
