  1. Why would my company want to be on the LOGWORLD schedule?

    LOGWORLD contractors are able to reduce their contract administration expenses, minimize procurement delays, enjoy a direct relationship with their Federal customers, benefit from collaborative marketing and increase their visibility on the internet.

  2. How do I get on LOGWORLD?

    Download the LOGWORLD solicitation from www.fedbizopps.gov Fill the solicitation out completely and send it to the address provided. A contracting officer will review your offer, evaluate your technical qualifications and negotiate fair and reasonable pricing. Once your contract is awarded, you will need to post your company information on our GSA Advantage web site.

  3. How do I get on GSA Advantage?

    You must use the Shedule Input Program (SIP) disk provided in your contract award package or download the latest version from the Vendor Support Center website: vsc.fss.gsa.gov. Only after submitting this information as instructed and receiving a confirmation message will your information appear on GSA Advantage.

  2. How do I place an order under this schedule?

    Develop your Statement of Work (SOW). Send your request for quotes (RFQ) to three or more schedule contractors. Evaluate the responses received according to your best value criteria. Issue a Task Order.

  3. What is Best Value?

    That's up to you! A Best Value selection can include many factors in addition to the lowest price. For example: - Past performance - Special features of the product/service - Technical qualifications

  4. Does my agency receive credit for schedule task orders awarded to 8(a) contractors?

    Yes you do! Agencies can use the Logistics Worldwide (LOGWORLD) schedule and receive socio-economic credits for task orders awarded to certified 8(a), small, small-disadvantaged, woman-owned, disabled veterans, HUBZone and minority-owned contractors.

  5. I don't have a contracting warrant. Can I order off the LOGWORLD schedule?

    No. You must be a contracting officer to place orders against the schedule. You would need to contact your contracting department with your requirement, let them know which schedule contractors you prefer, provide them with your performance-based Statement of Work and let them take care of the ordering process.

  6. How much does it cost to use the LOGWORLD schedule?

    There is no charge to use the schedule.

    A Federal Supply Schedule, also known as a Multiple Award Schedule (MAS), is a listing of contractors that have been awarded a contract by GSA. Federal agencies located throughout the world can use the Logistics Worldwide (LOGWORLD) MAS to order logistics support.

  2. How does GSA award contracts on a Federal Supply Schedule?

    GSA awards competitive contracts to those companies who propose schedule pricing that matches or beats the discounts they offer their best commercial customers. In addition, these prices have been reviewed for both fairness and reasonableness. The Federal Supply Schedule program mirrors commercial buying practices more than any other procurement process in the Federal government.
