About GSA
Heartland (6) Child Care

GSA is dedicated to providing valuable services to federal agencies.  One of those services is providing a safe and nurturing environment for children of federal employees.

The Heartland Region currently has ten childcare centers that are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) that are operated in or near federally-owned or leased space in the states of Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska.  The accreditation program insures that the topics of health and safety, staffing, staff qualifications, physical environment and administration of the child care centers have been assessed. The child care centers open applications to the general public for spaces not filled by federal employees.

GSA invites those interested in its many child care centers to visit the links associated with the child care center appropriate to their location.

Many families in the Heartland may be eligible for child care subsidies.  For more information, please contact the Heartland Region Child Care Coordinator.
